FAQ
All money is due prior to the start of each class NO EXCEPTIONS.
No you do not need your High School Diploma or GED.
There are evening and weekend classes.
No your money will not be refunded if you can’t complete your required hours.
Yes, you will receive a certificate for L1MA after completing the entire course and a card for Insulin from MANHA (Missouri Association of Nursing Home Administrators). You will receive a card after completion of CPR class.
You will need to renew your cards/certifications all in 2 years.
Call the number listed below or fill out the information section below. A background check will be completed on you prior to class admission.
1. For CPR - you must be at least 18 years of age.
2. For Med Level 1 - you must be at least 18 years of age
Pass the background check with Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR)
Pass the background check with Employee Disqualification List (EDL)
FCSR helps ensure that persons caring for children, seniors, physically or mentally disabled individuals can be screened for employment purposes.
It is a listing of individuals who have been determined to have:
1. abused or neglected a resident, patient, client or consumer.
2. misappropriated funds or property belonging to a resident, patient, client or consumer
3. falsified documentation verifying delivery of services to an in-home services client or consumer.
CPR - cards are available to be printed offline 24-48 hours after class completion.
Med Level 1 certification and Insulin cards will take an average of two weeks after completion of entire class (receive via mail).
